About Big Easy
An experience born to let the good times roll.

Owner Drew Henson, a veteran restauranteur from Tuscaloosa, wanted to open a restaurant with all the elements and flair of his favorite town, New Orleans, embracing the food and excitement he had always loved.

After much research and lots of taste testing, he created Big Easy Po-boys, a New Orleans Creole Café.  The idea was to recreate the same great food and atmosphere that you would get in New Orleans without breaking the bank.  Drew hired Creole chefs, many of whom were displaced by Katrina, and developed a menu that is simple, but true to the style and flavors of traditional New Orleans Creole fare.  Nothing fancy here. 

Our Po-boy formula is pretty simple and time tested.  Just great food in a great atmosphere.   A little live music, excellent food, New Orleans specialty drinks, and voila!  Let the good times roll!
